Hold Your Horses

Ever since my housemate sent this to me, I have been watching/listening to this music video nonstop. The song is called "70 Million" by Franco-American band, Hold Your Horses! It's been a while since I've listened to new indie music so this is refreshing for me. The song is catchy, addictive, and clever. Best of all, it's putting my Saturday Art History class to good use!!

Look out for their recreation of Manet's "Olympia." It's so awkward, but hilarious. I especially love their frozen facial expressions...priceless.

First post!

Greetings and welcome to my blog!

I've been watching the blogworld from afar for the past few months and finally decided to join the party (better late than never!). This blog will be a collection of things I like, but usually forget. You see, the past ~16 years of schooling has exhausted much of the space left in my brain...it's like I have <1 gig left in there (sad). With that said, I'll be blogging about clothes, photos I took, recipes that worked (and approved by a democratic majority ie: picky eaters), and whatever else is on my mind.

A little bit about me...

I'm a soon-to-be graduate and will be joining the ranks of the working class in the next few months... I like photography, watching foreign movies, dry humor, baba ghanoush (my fave!), and indie/alternative music. Sometimes I listen to Lady Gaga despite what Chris Titus says ("Music is dead because Lady Gaga lives"). Love her! :)

Cheers!
